For the role of  (Senior) Consultant SAP Master Data Governance, you have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business & Information Management, Information Sciences or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years’ hands‑on experience working in SAP Master Data domains, with at least 3 years’ experience in business process improvement and MDM
  • Proven experience implementing SAP MDG on S/4HANA for Finance, Customer, Supplier and Material master data
  • Experience with MDG Fiori apps and Web Services/SOA Manager for search/retrieve/replicate scenarios.
  • Strong knowledge of MDG development: BADIs, BRF+, validation & derivation, DIF/DRF, consolidation and mass-change
  • Practical experience with data migration tools and approaches (DMC, Syniti, SAP BODS or similar)
  • High level understanding of end‑to‑end SAP business processes
  • Strong execution capability with a hands‑on approach to design, build and test
  • Excellent command of English; fluency in Dutch is a strong advantage

Desirable experience (not required):

  • Experience with SAP MDG for Retail/Fashion or Enterprise Asset Management
  • Familiarity with data analytics and process analytics tools supporting MDG
  • Prior exposure to large, international client environments

How do you do this?

The SAP Data Market Offering is looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to enhance the team's capabilities across various projects. These projects span data migrations & transformations, data governance, and extensive S/4HANA transformations. The role provides opportunities for exposure to multiple industries, offering the freedom to select an area of focus and contribute to the development of Deloitte's market offerings.

You will engage in large-scale migrations, overseeing data management, implementing governance procedures, and handling the transformation & standardization of data. This includes managing overarching data strategies and maintaining data quality.

As a Senior Consultant you will:

  • Lead a team to deliver end-to-end MDM/MDG activities, coaching and building capability
  • Design and build SAP MDG solutions on S/4HANA, including configuration, activate BC sets, implement data and UI model, enhancements, process modeling, workflow and integrations
  • Define and implement data harmonization strategies to centralize master data and processes; define the governance structure and operating model
  • Map and document business processes impacted by master data; define consequences for the integrated data landscape
  • Coordinate cross‑functional design topics and define integration and data flow requirements across the organization
  • Implement DIF/DRF, MDG Consolidation, mass-change processes, DQM and process analytics
  • Lead migration of existing master data into an MDG hub; implement validation and derivation using BADIs and BRF+
  • Lead engagements on SAP roadmaps, shaping solution architectures for master data that are both innovative and delivery‑oriented, with readiness to undertake international assignments
