  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent.
  • 6–10 years’ hands-on experience in SAP projects, including S/4HANA and SAP BTP development and architecture.
  • Proven experience in technical and/or personnel leadership of development teams.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP BTP services, including CAP, Integration Suite, extension development, Build tools, and familiarity with SAP AI Core or equivalent AI platforms.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more of the following: Java, Python, JavaScript/Node.js, ABAP.
  • Solid understanding of modern cloud architectures, CI/CD, and DevOps practices on BTP.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business value for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with SAP Clean Core strategy and extensibility best practices.
  • Prior work designing AI or GenAI integrations in enterprise systems.
  • Exposure to SAP Business Application Studio, Eclipse ADT, API Management, and security frameworks.
  • Experience running workshops, leading client engagements, and supporting pre-sales activities.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on delivery bias.
  • Strong stakeholder management and mentoring skills.
  • Pragmatic approach to architecture: balancing future-proofing with speed to value.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning.

How do you do this?

  • Provide technical leadership for SAP development teams, fostering quality, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Design end-to-end architectures on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), focusing on cloud, integration, BTP services, and AI.
  • Identify, prioritize, and implement AI and GenAI use cases in the SAP landscape; lead their execution.
  • Develop MVPs, prototypes, and proofs of concept for scalable SAP cloud + AI solutions.
  • Define and govern full stack architecture using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, SAP Fiori, Build Apps, and Build Process Automation.
  • Establish extensibility strategies (key user, developer, side-by-side on BTP) aligned with SAP’s Clean Core principles.
  • Define OData/API strategies and oversee API governance and secure integration (Integration Suite, API Management).
  • Provide design authority for SAP Fiori apps and extensibility of S/4HANA landscapes.
  • Drive custom code modernization and migration efforts (on-premises to cloud/BTP).
  • Support pre-sales, lead architecture workshops, and advise clients on future-proof SAP + AI target architectures.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, high-performance, and compliant with SAP best practices and enterprise standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, data science, cloud engineering, and senior stakeholders, to evolve the SAP BTP & AI portfolio.
  • Leverage SAP Joule, including Joule Studio, AI agents, and Business AI capabilities to design, prototype, and operationalize generative AI-enabled workflows, agent-driven automations, and business-facing AI features within SAP landscapes.
